INTERVIEW
w1zz: Hello DHT, thank you for accepting this interview. Let's start off with an introduction of yourself.
DHT: Hello w1zz. My name is Alexander Remmer and I am currently 18 years old and based in Sweden, Stockholm. I am a man with lots of interests such as powerlifting, poker, DJing, hanging out with friends and of course various kinds of internet forums.
w1zz: Among all these interests of yours, there was a special place for kreedz once I assume. How did you get to know about this game and how much did it mean for you?
DHT: Yes of course it was. In late 2003/beginning of 2004 I was introduced by an old friend when I was playing a pcw. He proposed we'd go in and jump a little bit and I was totally confused and did not know what he meant. So I jumped in the server and the map was kz_px_eaglecliff and the rest is history... I was totally stuck. It meant kinda much to me I guess since I started practicing very much and really put serious effort in to it. I enjoyed it a lot!
w1zz: You were very young at that time. When did you quit the game and why did it happen?
DHT: Yes I was indeed very young. I quit in early 2007 I beleive. Basically the community started to become more and more immature, for instance - I remember there was frequent spamming in the forums and other disturbing things starting to evolve. I was also sort of tired of the game, I had basically reached all my goals, I was ranked top 5, I was considered as one of the most insane bunnyhoppers and I guess I have had my time in the spotlight and it was time to move on with my life.
w1zz: Since your retirement, have you ever been interested in joining the website from time to time and even thinking of coming back one day?
DHT: I have been very inactive considering visiting the site but of course I have been browsing it sometimes. I have not thought about coming back to KZ since I can not put in the time that it takes to be one of the top players anymore - I have got to much going on in my real life so it is not possible even if I wanted to.
w1zz: While you were playing, did you have any favorite(idol)?
DHT: Yes, I had many of them but to name a few, a0ke, T3dBundy, kimo and donakos. They all had an own unique style.
w1zz: Coming back to your first answer, you say you're a passionate of powerlifting, poker, Djing. Do you have any major achievements in these activities?
DHT: Yes. I compete in powerlifting and I won 5 medals in 2010. My biggest achievement in this sport was in the nationals of benchpress which I came in 3rd place. In poker I am currently a consistant winning player at Pot Limit Omaha Heads Up at stakes ranging from $0,25/$0,50 all the way up to taking shots at $2/$4 but I am mostly grinding $0,50/$1,00. DJing wise I have been doing all right I guess, spread some mixtapes around the net which got good respons and I was running the homepage swehouse which was a blog about house music. I am currently the owner of another houseblog called projekt1408.
w1zz: Wow, that's pretty impressive. Do you plan on making a career out of any of these activities?
DHT: Well, I am running really good in poker at the moment so if I can keep it up I will maybe consider that but it is too early to say. It is a very big step to take and at the moment I am definitely not ready for it, maybe in 5 years, who knows? Time will tell I guess.
w1zz: Ok DHT, the interview has come to an end. Thank you again for this and if you have any shout-outs, please go ahead.
DHT: Yes I would like to shout out to all my old kz friends, my real life friends and last but not least - a big hug to Daniel and Douglas .

DEMO REVIEWS
1. kz_northpole_b01 done in 02:27.94 by Np_O: A dazzling new slide shortcut found by Np_O obfuscates his rather slow run in the biggest must-watch of this week, which will sure please slide fans, that may find themselves a bit lost in the current list of official maps.
2. kz_jumprun done in 00:48.44 by Hitlooser: A delight for the longjumpers all over the world, the double countjumps performed by Hitlooser are an absolute eye candy, taking off almost a whole second in this longjumping map.
3. bkz_wallblock done in 00:44.20 by prize: Beating zyllEE's famous hated and loved demo, prize shows a surprisingly smoother, yet faster, run.
4. kz_space2 done in 01:09.91 by SAMNY: One of the official maps I personally find of very curious design, SAMNYeasily takes off over five seconds of akkord's previous run.
5. kz_kzdk_junglezone2 done in 04:54.64 by WetDreams: A regular run, one would say. A flawed run, someone else would say. Truth be told, over thirty seconds have been beaten over radon's run, perhaps inspiring others to try this sort of forgotten map.
MOVIE REVIEWS AND PROJECTS
This week we've seen an immense release of new and amazing movies. We've hand-picked a few for a review:
1. IN MY DREAMS by HsOnAs: The experienced moviemaker HsOnAs released a new 2-player movie featuring himself and ksiunkas. Edit wise, there is not much going on, a few colors have been corrected here and there and that's about it. The jumps aren't very hard either, somewhere around average.
What makes this movie amazing, is the atmosphere that HsOnAs managed to create. Using both amazing campaths and a very chilled song by Gary Jules he managed to create a movie which makes you remember why you are playing Kreedz. This movie shows Kreedz in it's purest form and just shows the beauty of Kreedz.
Go watch it, you won't regret it!
2. Broken Silence by ExpaNsion: Another movie released from Lithuania, this time featuring the moviemaker himself and bicentennial.
This extremely chilled movie, features what ExpaNsion himself describes as "strong colours" along with a couple of chilled songs, one for each jumpers part.
The jumps aren't extremely hard, but they're all very pleasing to the eye when watched along with ExpaNsion's edit.
Worth the watch!
3. ULTRAimp by NHZ.: NHZ. isn't very known as a moviemaker, but he has great potential, shown is his clips. This movie features the upcomming moviemaker Nukk. As opposed to the two previous movies, this one is not chilled - not at all.
The song chosen for the movie, might be a bit overused, but is still enjoyable. The edit is extremely powerful, with a lot of color correcting done, flashes and extreme glow.
Jump wise, the movie mostly composes of bhop combos and Nukk's infamous doubleducks. The jumps are without a doubt not easy, but they're just not as pleasing to the eyes as with the two previous movies.
If you enjoy combos and doubleducks, check this out!
4. SKYLINE 2011 by Hardrave: This is the first serious project from the Norwegian moviemaker Hardrave.
People such as Pruno, skizze and Homie were just some of the jumpers that Hardrave managed to feature in his movie. At first the movie suffered a bit in lenght, due to a few jumpers leaving but Hardrave managed and made a rather enjoyable movie.
Edit wise, most of the movie sort of chilled with a few effects here and there, without a lot of color correction or glows etc.
We're seeing both new and impressive jumps and especially sitka's bhop combo on dd2 stands out.
All in all a great movie, from a newcomer!
As mentioned, there were a lot of movies released the past week and here are some of the most notable, that we didn't not have room for in the weekly:
Nubz by Nukk, Morys & LSD - The movie by LSD. and of course our beloved ROTW #40 - pizza^ on kz_halicarnassus by DiENOS.
Now the time has come to review a couple of new projects:
1. Skylight by mmmsas and ExpaNsion: At first the project was meant to be handled by mmmsas only but he recently decided to invite ExpaNsion to help out. The movie will feature players from the Lithuanian community and according to mmmsas himself we will see at least a few new and hard jumps.
So far the project has only reached a project status of mere 19 %, but it is moving forward.

Another notable project is CS: oteofof by Nubz.
THOUGHT OF THE WEEK
Real Life vs Virtual Life
Since the advent of Internet and multi-player online games, the world has seen the emergence of two facets of the human existence. While one of them does the day to day activities of a normal human being, the second one dwells in the virtual hypothetical world.
So, why does the virtual life has been of immense significance in the past half a decade ? Well, the simple answer to the question is, in virtual life, you can be the person you want to be, irrespective of your looks, skills or public image in your immediate domain. A socially awkward guy, who is perhaps a no-namer in his school can be a hugely popular guy in the social networking websites. A physically challenged person can be racing on wheels, driving a Lamborghni Gallardo at 200 miles/hour speed. A feeble guy can be the hero who saves the damsel in distress. In short, you can be anyone you want to be in the virtual world.
But in the end, the virtual life is something like a mirage, while you are wandering in endless desert of the harsh realities. No matter what you achieve in the virtual world, real life situations are going to crush your futile, materialistic virtual life like a little bug. The overwhelming love and respect of XJ members, the fun and the frolic of gaming has perhaps the been the only source of motivation that has kept me going in my difficult times in my real life. But the question arises, for how long ?
I dont want this piece of article to be regarded as yet another piece of superfluous language, just for the sake of weekly. Instead I'd love to hear from people who have stood by this website, I'd rather say this community, through thick and thin, fighting like a brave warrior against the powerful ebbs and tides of real life...
Quote of the Week
Scary: This is the match we've all been waiting for! This will be so god damn good!!!
Context: Reply to the newspost announcing the battle of the century between the reigning king of Kreedz Koukouzand the former king of Kreedz Zhady.
