As you all know we started having a special guests for each weekly from now on. Last time the special guest was the oldschool jumper, kimo. This time we invited another jumper who is recording new demos as we speak.

Hello, at first I've to say thanks you to interview me, it's a honor. As you said, I'm heL, I'm 16 and I have been playing KZ for 2½ years now.
大家好，首先我要感谢你们的采访，这让我感到很荣幸。我是heL，16岁（真tm年轻），玩了两年半KZ。
16 years old… A young jumper in big community. This age of yours, what impact it has upon you ? Do you think that you’re to young for this community?
16岁……在这么大的社区里显得好年轻啊。你是怎样接触KZ的呢？你觉得你在这个社区里太小了？
Laughing out laud, I'm playing kz for fun before anything, so nobody needs to be older/younger to be in a KZ-community. This does not affect me. And as I can see, many pro jumpers, jumping their way to the top, were very young when they started recording. So maybe younger is better than old!
大笑三声，我一开始玩KZ只为了娱乐，所以根本不用关心年轻或老的问题。年龄对我没有任何影响。据我所知，很多冲进top(应该是XJ的top5)的高水平玩家，都是从小就开始录demo了（-_-|||）。所以也许年轻反而是优势呢。
Yes, we know that. And we also know that in spite of your age, you are one of the best jumpers in the world. In my previous interview with kimo, he also said that he had some problems when he was active in the scene because of his age. I thought that maybe you heard some people saying bad things about you, about your age, but I guess I’m wrong, right?
我们都知道是这样。我们也知道不管怎样你都是世界上最好的jumper之一。上期对kimo的采访里，他也说了在他活跃的时期，因为年龄很小而遇到了一些问题。所以我觉得不少人会用年龄来攻击你，是这样吗？
Actually, only a few people know my age, my closest internet friends. In the beginning they were laughing about my voice, but now we share the same game. I grew up and we have been playing for about 1,5 years together. Also I dont care what random people think about me, I'm playing with people I like!
实际上只有几个网上最好的朋友知道我的年龄。一开始他们嘲笑我的声音（难道是小正太音？），但后来我们相处得很愉快。我们在一起玩了大概1年半，伴随着我长大。我也不在乎不认识的人怎么看我，我只跟喜欢的人一起玩（真gay啊）。
In your previous answer, you said that there are young people better then the old ones that actually made it to the XJ top 5. Do you have an explanation of yours about this fact? Why do you think this things happens?
你在前面说了你觉得年轻人更容易冲进XJ的top5。你觉得这是因为什么呢？你为什么会这么想呢？
Laughing out loud, no.. I started playing kz because I was too young to join an actual cs clan, and I didnt even have my own computer yet. With kz you dont need to be free all night, practising stuff with your clan. KZ is free, you can play alone, whenever you want, however you want. And it's not a secret that you ”level up” when your playing and getting better and better.
继续笑，不……我玩KZ是因为我年龄太小了，不能加入CS俱乐部，而我还没自己的电脑（网吧KZ流？！）。玩KZ用不着花整晚的时间与队友一起练习。KZ是自由的，你能一个人玩，想什么时候玩、怎样玩都可以。而水平提高手“level up”的感觉让人非常爽。
Speaking of your coming in the KZ world. When did you decide to come in Kreedz scene and why is that?
谈谈你怎么进入KZ世界的。你当时怎么想到进入Kreedz的地图呢？
As I said before, I started playing about 2½ years ago. I clearly remember the map kz_man_riverside, on this map I met a guy who used the tag [KZFR.net], I was also playing alot on the KZFR server so I asked him what it was about. He explained to me that there is a french community about kz. After that, I visited the website like any other person who would like to ”level up” fast and I read some guides how to do bunnyjumps, high jumps, long jumps etc.
我说过我两年半前开始玩KZ。我清楚地记得在kz_man_riverside这张地图上碰到了一个挂着[KZFR.net]标签的人。我经常在法国的KZ服里面玩，所以我问他这个标签是什么意思。他解释说法国有一个KZ社区。后来我抱着希望尽快升级的心情来到了这个网站，阅读了很多教程，关于bhop HJ LJ等……（这时候就一小白啊）
After about two or three days I returned to the kzfr server and I met caps, who is a part of another french kz team, and I asked him how to do a longjump on kz_streetblock, he was very helpful and explaned alot, for example how to do a prestrafe.
过了两三天后我又去了kzfr的服务器，碰到了caps（这是个人名吧），另一个法国KZ组织的成员。我问他kz_streetblock上的一个LJ怎么跳，他非常热情地帮助了我，解释了很多，比如怎样助跑。(好像KZ服里经常发生这种事啊，谁知道高手们随意指点的一只菜鸟过两年会不会成为天王极人物呢 )
When I learned to prestrafe, I used to play alot on the ThE BiShOp* Bunny hop server, I would like to tell people about this server so other french people can get help.
There is alot of things that happened before my first world records on Xtreme-jumps, the story is long. I tried my first french world record on sld_bside_winter, and like 10 other maps. And when I found a map I liked alot I just kept playing it. Hour after hour 
我学会助跑后，经常在一个叫“ThE BiShOp*”的连跳服上玩。我要给这服务器做个广告，其他法国人可以到这里寻求帮助。在我刷第一个WR前发生了很多故事。首先我刷了第一个法国纪录，在sld_bside_winter上，然后刷了十来张图。后来我非常喜欢一张图，我就一直玩啊玩。
My first world record ever at Xtreme-jumps was on kz_dbh_pipehop and I took it from Z0ck3rOO7, I was very happy because in the old days Z0ck3rOO7 was the best, and he still is in my eyes. It made me feel good! And with the skill I got from playing I kept doing worldrecords and in my time I had around 50 world records.
我第一个WR是刷了Z0ck3r007的kz_dbh_pipehop，我非常兴奋，因为那时候Z0ck3r007是最牛B的人。我感觉很好，后来我就不断地刷图，最多时大概拥有了50个WR。
It seems like your trying to take most of brians records, why is that?
你正在暴brian的菊花，为什么要这样做呢？
Yeah, that's right, many kz players ask me why I'm trying to take brians records. I also read i nthe last demo release in the comments that ”hel hates brian”. Ofcourse I dont hate brian, I wouldn't say I love him, but he is a great person and he discovered the doubleduck speed bhop which was very helpful, there's just a bottom line, if you like the map: You beat it!
是啊，许多人问为什么。我还在最新一期WR评论里看到有人说“heL恨brian”。当然我一点都不恨brian，但我也谈不上爱他（好复杂的情感。。。）。他是一个非常牛B的人，发现了非常有用的doubleduck speed bhop（不知道这是什么东东）。我只坚持一条准则：如果喜欢一张图，就刷掉它吧。
How hard was this journey of yours? You started out as a guy who didn’t know what KZ meant. I can see that you got familiar pretty fast with all you needed to know in KZ to start beating records. What made you to learn that fast ?
你的KZ历程有多么艰难？你从完全不知道KZ为何物开始（废话，谁不是这样）。你很快学会了用来突破纪录的一切技巧。你为什么学得这么快呢？
Actually I started playing kz when every french was active, so many people were playing and alot of people helped me, it's very easy to learn when people want to help you.
我开始玩KZ时所有的法国高手都处于活跃期，很多人帮助了我，在这种情况下很容易学习。
Hehe, we can say that you had some luck back then. When you’re trying to beat a record, do you have a rutine of yours? Maybe some steps before recording? Like playing the map first, trying all the combos, checking for shortcuts and so on? Or you just try to beat it from the first try?
呵呵，可以说你当时运气不错。你刷新WR时有什么习惯？也许要做些什么？比如先研究一下所有连跳点和SC？或者一开始就试着去裸？
I dont really have a plan, but I usually listen to my coach Np_O, haha. Who tells me what maps he thinks I should do, he shows me the shortcuts and some tricks/tips for combos. I usually spray the blocks when I need to remember it's a bunny jump, and so I can spot the shortcuts easy, also I set the roundtimer of my server to the record. So I can easy see where I can be faster, and how fast I need to be. I'm not giving up on a map, when I choose one, I keep trying it for like a week and if I really cant get it, I give up :p
我刷图时没什么计划，但我会听从教练Np_O的指导，哈哈。他告诉我什么图我应该去刷一下，并演示一下SC和连跳点。我一般会射在bhop图里要注意的点上，这样就能轻易标记好SC了。我还把每局时间调成纪录时间，所以我能轻松知道在哪里可以更快点，要多快。一般只有一星期以上都刷不掉时才会放弃选中的地图。
Which was the easiest/hardest map to beat and how long did it take you to beat it?
你最轻松/困难刷掉的图分别是什么，用了多长时间？
Hmm, the easiest map to beat was probably kz_stoneblock_ez, at first the record was 2:01, I just put up my server and I did it within 60 minutes.
最容易的大概是kz_stoneblock_ez，一开始纪录时间是2：01。我建好图，60分钟内就刷掉了。
I think the hardest one was dg_winterclimb, because if you make alot of small mistakes, you wont get the record, it still isnt perfect. Still beatable but right now Im trying another map (it's a secret) which is really hard to do a good run on. But I think I'll get it soon!
我觉得最难的一张是dg_winterclimb，因为如果出现很多小失误就刷不了。现在的纪录仍然不够完美，我相信能刷掉，但我正在刷另一张图（名字保密），这张图很难做到完美。不过我相信我能刷掉它。（这个采访应该是在上期WR发布之前做的，heL果然刷掉了dg_winterclimb，保密的图不知道是哪张）
Oh man, dg_winterclimb… I never thought that someone will beat that map again. I guess it won’t be a mistake if I call you “a man who turns the impossible into possible?”, am I right?
天哪，dg_winterclimb……我从来没想过这张图还能继续刷。我想把你称为“把不可能变为可能的男人”没有错吧？
Laughing out loud. Ofcourse I like to push the limit of what's possible, and with new techniques, doubleduck etc. You can make better times all the time. It's exactly like that on winterclimb, you find a small thing to do different and get 0.50 seconds faster, and you do a couple of theese and POW! Every map is possible to beat!
仰面大笑。。。当然我喜欢用新技术推进可能被打破的极限，比如小跳。你总能达到更快的时间。就像在winterclimb上，找一些能省半秒的点，完成它们，就成功了！（说得倒容易）所有地图都有可能被刷掉。
What about a map you couldn’t beat? Do you have one?
有什么地图你刷不掉呢？
Ofcourse it's hard to beat the 0:00 sec maps, but Im not a big fan of AMX maps, also Im not a big fan of edgebug shortcuts, it's not my cup of tea so to speak.
当然那些0：00秒的图很难被搞定（估计按照变态新规则还是有可能的吧），但我不喜欢AMX地图（指AXN图吧，我也不喜欢，哈哈），另外我不喜欢玩EB捷径，所以就不用说刷这些图了。
How would you describe your style of jumping?
描述一下你的跳跃风格吧。
When I started playing kz I had great strafes, I loved them! Big, smooth, five strafes to do 254. But nowadays I have abit smaller strafes. I wouldnt say I have an agressive jumping style but I think my bunnyjumps are pretty good, but hey, atleast Im fast, since Im taking worldrecords!
我一开始玩KZ就拥有漂亮的加速，我也非常喜欢它们（天生的变态啊）。大幅、平滑的五次加速能达到254单位（OMG！）。但是现在我的加速幅度变得小了一些。我觉得我的风格不是很凶猛，但我觉得我的bhop水平很高，至少我的速度快，我能刷WR！
When you do a worldrecord how do you keep yourself calm? Do you scream or do you take it easy? Maybe you jump out through the window?
你刷掉WR后如何能抑制内心的激动呢？你会尖叫还是平静地看待它？也许你会直接跳出窗口？
When I'm doing stupid mistakes I just laugh at myself beucase it's so bad. But when I fall on jumps or bunnyjumps I scream because I'm so nervous if you fall when you have a good run. And in the hardest maps it happens alot. When I get too mad I just close my server down!
我犯低级错误时会嘲笑自己。但跳得很顺突然掉了时我会尖叫（真难想像……）。在困难地图中这经常发生。太抓狂时我会直接关掉CS！
Are you feeling bored now since you made over 50 demos? Or are you thinking about quitting the KZ scene?
你刷过50次WR后觉得无聊了吗？或者你想过退出KZ界吗？
I acutally quitted KZ for a while, before this newspost I took a little break, for about three weeks because it was boring recording. It's true, I dont have the same desire to play and beat a map anymore, now Im climbing for fun, like the old times. And I also found a counterstrike team called #EXCELIUM, I prefer putting my time on shooting instead, and practising with my own team.
其实我退出过KZ，在这则新闻前大概有三个星期的休整，因为录demo太无聊了。这是真的，我的确感到没什么动力继续玩下去了。现在我就像一开始那样玩KZ只为了娱乐。我现在加入了一个叫“#EXCELIUM”的战队，更喜欢跟队友们一起练习打枪。
How much commitment and dedication is necessary to finish a map and to keep your skills at a high level? Do you need to practice every day for keeping your skills at a constant level?
为了保持一定的水平，你需要花多少时间精力来练习KZ呢？
Yeah, it's true, you have to stay in the zone with kz. If you stop playing for a week, you loose all your skill. I think it happened to everyone sometime.
是的，想保持水平就必须留在KZ圈子里。如果一星期不完，就会彻底痿掉。我想每个人都碰到过这种情况吧。
Do you have regrets concerning your involvement in KZ scene?
你后悔进入KZ界吗？
Oh no, I dont have any regrets, maybe I lost some time here and there that I could have put onto my old counterstrike team. But I found alot of good friends in CXGTEAMS and KZFR, so I cant let them down. We hang out all the time on teamspeak and I laugh and laugh
当然不，我一点都不后悔。也许我失去了一些与以前的CS战队在一起的时间，但我在CXGTEAMS和KZFR上交到了很多朋友，我不会让他们失望。我们经常在一起聊天，我笑啊笑。（怎么这么喜欢傻笑的）
What advice would you give to the jumpers from KZ scene? Maybe for the ones who want to start jumping and for the ones who are already doing that.
你想给KZ玩家们什么建议呢？比如对那些想开始跳跃和刚开始跳跃的人。
I only have one advice, it's very helpful: Practise yourself and watch demos to see how they do, and progress! (<3 Moxx>)
我只有一个非常有帮助的建议：拼命练习，同时看demo学习别人是怎么做的，就能进步了！（爱Moxx）

Ok at first, I want to it to be around three to five minutes, I really love the kz_facility textures, maybe something including them. The same sort of jumps, not so hard and a big shortcut that destroys the map, also a block-part. Also it should be a fast map with alot of bunnyjumps, but not short bhop. Im not a big fan of kz_creek, it's too hard to record  .
我要花几分钟时间来讲（-,-）。我非常喜欢kz_facility的纹理，也许还有些别的什么。跳点风格要统一，不能太难，超大捷径会破坏整张图，还要有一部分block（大概指不能全部是连跳）……另外我喜欢的图要有很长的可连点。我不是很喜欢kz_creek，太难裸了。（酸葡萄嘛）

Ma$takilla is currently working on a movie about one of the best jumpers in KZ World of all times, that will be out in about a month. We can't wait!

Also Level2 is currently working on a top secret movie project for around 20 jumpers. The movie will be about 5-6 minutes long and contain everything from well known jumpers to rising stars.
Level2正在为20个玩家做一部视频，大概五六分钟长，包含了各种名人与新星。
Level2 doesnt want to reveal too much just yet. As the movie is still in early stages. But from what I've seen so far it looks really good.
Level2不想透露太多，因为这部视频还处于早期制作阶段。但是就我目前见到的，这部视频非常精彩。
Remember that CyclopP announced in the last weekly a project of his? A project about some kind of an article or a review about the most important and well known movies from the KZ scene. We have to say that he has been working very hard lately, collecting all kinds of data for this project.
还记得CyclopP正在做的一项工程吗？关于给最重要、最知名的KZ视频写介绍或评论的工程。他最近很努力地工作，收集了非常多的资料。
We know that CyclopP is working with some sword of passion when it comes to everything he needs to do and let me assure you that when this project will be ready, it will be mind blowing. That’s why, when we saw this news in the last weekly, we just knew that we need to talk with him right away, to find out as much as we can about this. We have to say that we did a pretty good job, because when we went to him we had the impression that he will give us some small details… you know… the current status, if it is hard to work and so on. Then, suddenly, we saw in front of our eyes a huge list with names.. it was the list with all the movies from the project. I was amazed… never expected that this will happen. 我们知道CyclopP在工作中倾注了无限的激情。这使我确信这项工程一旦发布，必将震精世界。这也是为什么在看过上期周刊后，我们觉得需要从他那里尽量挖掘出更多的消息。我们成功地获得了不少小细节，比如现在的进度和有什么难点。然后我们突然见到了一长串名单，上面是这工程涉及到的所有视频。这太令人惊叹了。

Mapping news

Mentalo is back! The mapping machine from Germany started mapping again! We haven't seen him for a while, because some bad virus pwned his PC completely, causing the lost of all files, and the most appreciated ones, mapping files!
Now he patched things up and pulled out the old hammer editor for a new ride. Here we have mto_desolate2, an easier version of mto_desolate_h. Mentalo (in fact, now going around under the name mentaloboiii8000) used the same textures but the map's been with more interesting architecture.
Mentalo回来了！这架德国制图机器又开始做图了。他有段时间没露面，因为他的电脑被牛B的病毒完全摧毁，丢失了所有文件，当然最重要的地图文件都没了。
现在他重新开始干活。现在有了mto_desolate2，是mto_desolate_h的简单版。Mentalo使用了同样的纹理，但地图结构更有趣。

We have been getting a lot of map submittions lately. So radon thought it would be good with a very informative guide about mapping where he explains what you should avoid while mapping and how to avoid them. Reading this guide might help you get a better chance of getting a map accepted.

Scripting news

A scripter, that wishes to remain secret, has started working again on his 1.5 years old plugin (a quite interesting plugin) that shows you the percentage of the map you've passed. Also, just a small info. The tree shortcut on kz_cliffez stands on 25% of the map and the part you're going to land after you do the shortcut is on 38% of the map.
一个不肯透露身份的人开始继续做一个已经有一年半历史的老插件，可以显示跳图进度。比如kz_cliffez大树捷径处相当于地图的25%位置，跳到对面后就达到地图的38%了。
You want to play cups but there is no cup at the main Xtreme-Jumps channel? You are tired of messaging the users which are searching for cupplayers? Or are you even tired of searching users for a cup?

Remember the old XJ public server ? Remember that everyone tried to avoid playing on it because it didn't had anything new and it was said that the weakest part of the community was the server ?

Other news
As we all know, Xtreme-Jumps is looking for 2 new cup admins and 2 mapcheck admins. The applications were closed on 12/03/2009, and the lucky ones will be announced today 15/3/2009. The Weekly Crew wishes good luck to every applier out there.
