my friend, incompetence in the US could also be for the cause of justice. sometimes we look the other way so that those who needs to have something done could do their work for the betterment of society and for the cause of peace. but mind you, we are ever vigilant and are not as stupid as you would like to believe.

Those of us whose opinions matter, are aware of the deficiencies of both these types of people. Unfortunately, just as it validates the insane person's ideas to take their assertions seriously, so does responding directly (and with well-thought arguments) to the assertions of a feeble mind make their ideas appear to be inteligent enough to merit a counter-argument. Some assertions, though concerning topics that it is important to discuss, just aren't reasoned well enough to attend to.
