Dear users,

we were made aware of the fact that the databases of several other communities were exposed recently and already had to notice a lot of XJ accounts being overtaken as a consequence of that.

If your XJ password is/was the same as your password on other community sites, you should change that immediately! Otherwise your XJ account is not secure!

/Update: It appears that the DB of Cosy-Climbing wasn't affected at all. However it seems that at least KZ-sca was affected (thanks to OFFBEAT for your help). Sorry for the misinformation regarding Cosy, however it was never our intention to blame or accuse other websites, we just intended to make people aware of the situation and suggest to change their passwords immediately.

/Update II: As a consequence of the latest event, we needed to restore the database from a few days ago. This will undo some of the latest account overtakes, but also means you need to change your passwords again. Thanks for your understanding and sorry for any inconveniences caused!

If your account was hijacked recently, please contact me with proof that the account once belonged to you. I will be online in IRC the whole weekend to help users with account problems.
